I have a Delivery Controller set up for XenDesktop and a machine catalogue and delivery group containing one desktop VM (Windows 10 x86).

The VM remains 'unregistered'.

For some reason installing the VDA does not 'register' the VM with the Delivery Controller.

I googled a bit and found out that apparently I am missing a 'farm OU'. I also found explanations of how to create the OU manually and how to configure the Delivery Controller and the desktop VM to work without such an OU.

What I couldn't find is how to create the OU automatically and why installing XenDesktop didn't simply create the OU it so desperately needs.
